Marks and Spencer is to open a store at an out-of-town shopping centre.
The retail giant will take up two units at Freeport Talke Outlet Mall, with the store scheduled to open by next autumn.
The 13,333sq ft outlet will offer womenswear, lingerie, menswear Rolex Replica Watches and childrenswear, along with home and beauty products.
Marks and Spencer's Andrew Skinner said: "We are delighted to be opening a new outlet store at Freeport Talke.
"The new store will offer people in North Staffordshire an extensive range of Marks and Spencer products at great prices.
"Contracts have been exchanged but as it is such early days we cannot give a figure on the numbers of jobs that will be created."
Marks and Spencer has 29 outlet stores in the UK, typically in designer outlet centres. The majority of lines are at least 30 per cent off their original main store selling price.
Shoppers at Freeport yesterday welcomed the new store.
Gwen Bocking, aged 68, of Silverdale, said: "I like Marks and Spencer, but I don't like having to go to Hanley to shop, so it will be good to have one here.
"I only go to Hanley for Marks and Spencer whereas I come here whenever I think there might be something I like.
"It will be good having somewhere that sells ordinary clothes because most of the shops here just do eveningwear."
Winifred Wegrzyn, aged 89, from Fenton, added: "I would like to see Marks and Spencer here. I've bought some good stuff from them before.

A pounds15 million expansion, which could create up to 100 jobs, was announced in February and will see new shops and restaurants as the centre increases from 137,000 to 160,000sq ft.
The announcement came just days after United Co-operatives announced the closure of its loss-making supermarket on the site.
The supermarket site is one of more than 10 currently empty at Freeport Talke.
A Freeport Talke spokesman said: "We are in the process of signing key tenants. Marks and Spencer is one of these, but we will not make further announcements until details are finalised."
